If you’re planning a club or society social in Bath, finding the right venue can make all the difference. You want somewhere central, with great drinks, music and atmosphere — but also a space that feels like your own for the night. That’s exactly what we offer at Sub 13.
We’ve been part of Bath’s student life for years, hosting everything from sports team socials and end-of-term parties to society celebrations and fundraisers. The layout of the venue gives you plenty of choice: from our heated, covered terrace to our downstairs club space, there’s an area to suit every kind of night.
Student perks that go further
Our Black Card makes it easy to keep things affordable. Holders get £5 pints, 20% off 2-for-1 cocktails and shots, and half-price shisha, Monday to Friday. It’s free to sign up — and a great way to make your budget stretch further while still enjoying Bath’s best cocktails.
Spaces to suit your group
The club can be booked privately Tuesday to Thursday for up to 150 people. You can even bring your own DJ to make it personal to your group. If you’re after something more relaxed, the terrace has several semi-private areas, perfect for smaller gatherings or a few drinks before heading downstairs later. The whole terrace is heated and covered, so the weather never gets in the way.
Flexible bookings and exclusive use
We don’t usually charge for bookings — although a booking fee or minimum spend may apply, epsecially for whole-venue hire, club use or exclusive use. Sub 13 is also available for exclusive hire on Sundays and Mondays, ideal if you’re organising a larger event and want the place to yourselves.
