Christmas Cocktails at Sub 13

It's been a strange year, but we're gearing up to celebrate in Sub 13 style, but this time we're continuing the festivities for January to make sure everyone gets the chance to sample a Sub 13 Christmas!

As usual, we've teamed up with Flowers by Passion to turn Sub into a winter wonderland, so from 3rd December (when we hope to be open again) you can enjoy Christmas cocktails in suitably festive surroundings.

We have pulled out all the stops for the tipples too, take a look at these beauties:

Mulled Gin & Tonic

What could be better than a warm version of the classic gin and tonic? Our mulled G&T is perfect for the colder evenings, and like any good mulled drink it has lots of lovely spice: cinnamon, cloves, star anise, and cardamom. We also add some pressed apple juice, honey and orange peel along with gin.

White Christmas Mojito

The next of our Christmas cocktails is a striking take on a classic mojito using coconut rum and cream. It certainly looks festive in white and the pomegranate seeds add a nice dash of seasonal colour too.

Christmas Day Prosecco Punch

This drink looks amazing with all the fresh, seasonal fruits. It is also really zesty and refreshing. This makes it an excellent aperitif if you are having people over for dinner. It is also a great contrast to some of the richer drinks on the menu. In a punch bowl we combine cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, orange juice and the juice of 2 limes. Then add sliced lime, sliced clementines, fresh cranberries and fresh pomegranate seeds. Finally glug in half a bottle of vodka and a bottle of Prosecco and lots of ice!

Christmas Martini

Created by our head bartender Damian, this indulgent winter warmer combines Absolut vanilla vodka with Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur and a decadent slug of cream. With a honey and sugar rim and a topping of grated chocolate it is the perfect after dinner treat!
